HyperNoir – Returning to normal after the pandemic will look pretty similar to the employees of Rappi who will now adapt to home office as a regular occurrence.
Home office was not foregin to these employees who were used to a hybrid way of working. This meant some days they would go to the office for meetings and schedule appointments.
Are we staying home?
This decision was made after an internal investigation was made in the company by also having their employees answer a questionnaire about what they thought about home office or in person work.
Out of around 530 employees, 63 percent felt they were not working well from home while 92 percent would like to go the hybrid way, as social interaction is needed and very important to them.
Rappi, like many more companies, have closed their offices since March and have not been reopened.
Rappi aids for employees
That is why Rappi has announced that they would offer their employees a kit for them with office supplies like a chair and accessories. Each employee will give a list of what materials they will want so the company can provide them as well as financial help for the internet and electricity bill.
However, they are implementing a monthly Happy Hour for their employees to socialize for team building activities once the pandemic allows it.
